Episode #1:
Escape From Tomorrow
Virdon & Burke, two astronauts from the year 1980, crashland on a strange planet where an oppressive race of apes rule over human slaves.  They soon discover that they have passed through a curve in space-time and have landed on a post-apocalyptic Earth in the year 3085.  Enlisting the aide of a sympathetic chimpanzee, named Galen, the three fugitives escape from the clutches of the ape chief of state, Zaius, and the murderous plots of Security Chief Urko, and flee into the wilderness.
Episode #2:
The Gladiators
Attempting to break up a fight, Virdon looses a recording from their spaceship.  It is picked up by a chimpanzee who is the prefect of a nearby town.  Virdon & Burke are captured while trying to retrieve the disk and Burke is forced to fight in a gladiatorial game.  Refusing to kill his opponent, Burke escapes with Galen in the ensuing chaos.  One of Urko's Lieutenants arrives with orders to apprehend and execute the fugitives.  With the help of one of the gladiators, Burke & Galen manage to free Virdon.
Episode #3:
The Trap
Pursued by Urko and his forces, Burke, Virdon, & Galen take shelter in the ruins of Los Angeles.  While Burke engages Urko, one on one, an earthquake hits and the two fall into an abandoned subway station, the entrance sealing behind them.  Virdon & Galen strike a deal with Urko's lieutenant to work at getting them out.  Meanwhile, Burke decieves Urko into thinking that the subway station was built by ancient apes.  Burke's deception ensures cooperation from Urko until he discovers a certain relic that reveals the true origins of simian society.
Episode #4:
The Good Seeds
An injured Galen seeks refuge on the farm of an ape named Polar. Burke & Virdon are put to work and, using some human-perfected farming methods, soon have the farm working at peak efficiency.  But Polar's eldest son, Anto, distrusts the two, believeing that they've put a curse on the pregnent cow.  Since, according to tradition, the newborn calf will belong to Anto, he pursues every available opportunity to have Virdon & Burke expelled from the farm.  As if that weren't enough, the local gorilla patrols become suspicious of the strange occurances at Polar's farm.
Episode #5:
The Legacy
The trio discover a holographic recording in the ancient ruins of Oakland that tells of a vault containing the sum of human knowledge.  When the projector breaks down, Virdon & Burke search for the components they need to fix it.  Virdon is captured by the gorillas and held hostage in an ancient mansion with two other human captives who are actually spies for Zaius & Urko.  While Virdon tries to escape imprisonment, Galen & Burke continue to fix the projector in order to find the vault before Zaius & Urko do.
Episode #6:
Tomorrow's Tide
The three fugitives come across an old man, Gatto, tied to a raft adrift at sea.  Since he is branded as a fisherman slave, Burke & Virdon try to find the labor camp from which he came.  But when the two are captured by the camp's administrator, a chimpanzee named Hurton, its up to Galen to save them before they are branded as fishermen for the rest of their lives.  While the three scheme up a way to escape from the camp, Burke & Virdon are subjected to several dangerous tests, including battling vicious sharks and swimming under fire.
Episode #7:
The Surgeon
When Virdon is critically wounded by a gorilla's gunshot, Galen decides to head back to the outskirts of Central City to find adequate medical facilities.  Convincing the chimpanzee surgeon, Kira, an old flame of Galen's, to take them in, Galen poses as Dr. Adrian.  When Burke & Galen break into Zaius' library in order to steal a book on human anatomy for Kira, Urko is alerted and begins pursuit.  But before the surgery can begin, Burke must find a compatible blood donner for Virdon.  Things are complicated even further when Dr. Leander becomes suspicious of 'Dr. Adrian'.
