Episode #2

"The Clipshow in Which Dante & Randal Are Locked in the Freezer & Remember Some of the Great Moments in Their Lives"

Episode #2 caused great confusion since it was a flashback episode that referred to the Pilot, which ABC never aired.  Consequentially, the audience was left very confused.  However, if you watch the episodes in proper succession, the idea of a flashback episode for the second episode is pretty funny. 

When Dante, Randal, Jay & Silent Bob are all locked inside the Quick Stop freezer, they take some time to reflect on their lives and some of the more precious, and funny, moments together.  After they escape, Dante & Randal get locked inside RST Video with the air conditioner on, free to reflect on even more memorable events in their lives.

One of the more beloved, but controversial jokes in this episode was Team CLERKS' Flintstones parody of Schindler's List.  The result:  Flintstones List.  Needless to say, ABC refused to show this part.  Aparently, it was deemed as a bit too offensive by the network.

After being imprisoned in RST Video for several hours, and several reflections, Dante's parents called the police.  Once they were free of the video store, they realized that there was a phone that they could've used.  All in all, it was just another day on the job.
